Are You Dwelling In Your War Room?
Ephesians 6:18 NIV
[18] And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people.
Hello Everyone! I have finally finished my war room! I love it. My husband told me if he keeps letting me decorate the house, I will have my favorite color all over our home! Lol! I LOVE Teal, Mint, and Turquoise! I had to fill that space with things that I LOVE to be in that space to pray, write and spend time with God. Do you have a dedicated area to pray, be in God's presence and dwell with God? If you don't I encourage you to find that special place that disconnects you from the world and connects you to God. Find a spot in your home or personal space where you can pray and seek God with no distractions. In order to hear clearly from God, we need a designated spot where we can be in silence or listen to soft music to get in the presence of God. WHEN WE DWELL IN GOD'S PRESENCE, WE FIND EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED! WE FIND HEALING, PROSPERITY, GRACE, MERCY, FAVOR, BREAKTHROUGH, TURNAROUND, JOY, PEACE, STRENGTH, COURAGE, SALVATION, AND COMFORT!!!
In this new season, we have to constantly be in our WAR ROOM, dwelling in God's presence at all times! God wants to hear from us! IT'S WAR TIME! Even though God knows what we need before we do, he wants us to communicate with him. When some people think about praying in tongues(the Holy Spirit), they see it as a religious thing that the church does but praying in the spirit is directly connected to your relationship with God. CAN YOU ACCESS GOD AND HE KNOWS WHO YOU ARE? DOES GOD KNOW YOUR VOICE? It's about the bond, connection, and relationship you have with Jesus that allows you to come to him with prayers and requests. Praying in the spirit is a dialogue between you and Jesus. A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP! Just like your relationship with your spouse, child, friend, or family member where you communicate with them and bond a bond or attachment is how you should be communicating with God to build a bond and relationship. Praying in the spirit the speaking of tongues is how we communicate with God to hear the instructions he has for our life! We need prayer to triumph over the enemy and every attack that will try to come up against us.
In this verse, Paul pointed out an essential tool for our success PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT which means putting on the WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD! A necessary part of winning in every area of your life is PRAYER! Pray to God in your prayer language to build yourself up on your most holy Faith! You can not be a Christian in this world and do not pray and seek God for direction, answers, wisdom, and understanding. Prayer connects us to God and helps us grow deeper and deeper in our relationship with God and deeper in our Faith and anointing! Communication with God is essential for your everyday life! When the enemy tries to come in like a flood, you will already be alert and prayed up to fight any battle that would try to stop you from walking in your purpose! If you want to hear, God speaks and see God move in your life like never before, read your Bible and pray, and you shall experience God's presence like never before! When you open your Bible, the devil gets mad, but when you pray, the devil faints! The devil is crafty and will try to distract you! Don't let anything distract you from praying!
Paul says to stay alert, which means that we should be praying every chance we get. We don't have to set prayer aside for a specific time! We should be praying at every waking moment to stay alert and stay on guard! It's an essential tool that we should constantly be using! Talk to God persistently and about every area of your life! You can't pray to God that he would heal you and then not pray to God to increase your territory! Nothing is impossible for our God, whether it's big or small! If you're going to pray and believe for God to heal you, then you should be praying and thinking you shall never be broke another day in your life, and you will not lack any good thing that comes from the Lord! He is I Am, Provider, Waymaker, Promise Keeper, Miracle Worker, Comforter, and so much more to us!
When praying to God, we should also be praying for other believers, family, friends, associates and not just praying for ourselves. It is vital to pray for your family and brothers and sisters in Christ because you don't know what that person may be being challenged with or what's trying to attack them! We don't know the personal battles others are trying to overcome, but we can stay alert and pray for them even when they don't tell us what they are battling.
WE ARE IN WAR TIME FOR OURSELVES AND EVERYONE CONNECTED TO US! WE ARE IN WAR TIME FOR OUR MARRIAGES! WE ARE IN TIME FOR OUR CHILDREN! WE ARE IN WAR TIME FOR THE WORLD, FOR OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST! WE ARE IN WAR TIME FOR OUR FUTURE! WE ARE IN WAR TIME FOR OUR BREAKTHROUGH AND TURNAROUND!
